Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP)

Caltech recognizes that childcare costs impose a financial burden on many members of the community. The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) allows eligible applicants to receive up to $5,000 per year to help defray childcare provider costs.

Awards are available to eligible faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and campus staff with dependent children ages 10 and under.

CCAP 2017 Plan Highlights and Changes

-All award levels are increased by 25%

-Maximum award amount is increased to $5,000 (2016’s plan maximum was $4,000)

-Combined income limit is increased to $120,000 (2016 limit was $115,000)

-Caltech wage limit is increased to $104,780 (2016 limit was $93,964)

Some exciting changes have been made to the 2017 CCAP Guidelines.  Please carefully review the update guidelines, application and application deadline.

 2017 Funding Period

The application period for 2017 is October 3, 2016 through October 31, 2016.
